Today was the day of our Winter Break Debate High School Tournament with the Bronx Debate League! Thank you to Bronx Collaborative High School for hosting the tournament! Thank you so much to Coach Nadia Kline-Taylor! Thank you so much to over a dozen NYC high schools attending… during Winter Break! You would think that after a week of vacation, snowing outside, and holidays that we would not have much turnout! We were wrong! Roughly 50 high school teams and over 100 high school debaters competed in the tournament, as well as over 50 judges, volunteers, parents, teachers, workshop instructors and staff. Students have been preparing all month on several different debate topics for this tournament. See topics below! And see tournament results below! Congratulations to all winners and tournament participants. Thank you so much to all our judges, volunteers, staff, and workshop instructors!
